Enjoy Windows 8 Metro Tiles & Widgets on Windows 7 with Pulmon




Windows 8 is no longer Microsoft’s secrete now, we are sure most Microsoft enthusiasts knows that Microsoft Windows 8 is already in development and will come with new user interface aka Microsoft’s most popular mobile Metro UI. The first Windows 8 demo video which Microsoft had published at D9 conference showed that HTML5 based widgets, tile based interface will be dominating Windows 8 UI .

If you wondering how you can enjoy Windows 8 Style widgets on Windows 7 then here is something for you. Pulmon, a great application which brings Windows 8 like metro tiles in Windows 7. It gives you various options to add as tiles such as Internet Explorer, User etc. Internet Explorer adds a beautiful tile on desktop. Clicking on it will open IE.

It is currently limited to six tiles and provids following widgets

User- Clicking “User” tile will open a User Widget. If you want to open User Accounts, double-click on the green place of tile or double-click on User Avatar. There are many tweaks available for user tile. Right click on the tile and click options. You can choose “Take User Avatar from Windows System” or choose custom avatar.

Control Panel- Clicking Control Panel tile will load control panel.

Clock- A clock widget it will show you time, month and day of the week.

Shutdown Manager- Provides quick access to PC Shutdown, Restart, Log Off and Hibernate’s Options are given.

Webby- Provides quick access to popular websites
Pulmon

Just download & run Pulmo, click on any widget in Add Titles will instantly add that widget to your Windows 7 Desktop.
